Trees on this list are considered to be potential hazards by the Tree Board and may not be planted on the boulevard or right-of-way in Decorah:

  • Elms (susceptible to Dutch Elm Disease)
  • Fir
  • Maples (except Sugar Maple)
  • Mulberry
  • Siberian (Chinese) Elm
  • Spruce
  • Tree of Heaven
  • Walnut
  • White Popular
  • Willow
