As a state-certified organization, the Decorah Historic Preservation Commission is bound by state of Iowa open meeting laws and record-keeping procedures. The Commission’s permanent record of minutes, annual reports, grant proposals, and formal actions including National Register nominations is on file in City Hall and is available for viewing by the public.  The Commission’s working files and research resources are kept in a file cabinet in the Decorah Library.  The cabinet key is available to the public at the Library circulation desk.
